i'm going to go tommorow to get it pierced and i'm not sure about how it feels or anything and i'm kind of worried. on a scale of 1-10 how does it feel?

Hunni it does not hurt more than a pinch does. Try putting some orajel on your belly before you get it done. I had mine done when I was 28 and I am now 35...Trust me it isn;t that bad. One word of advice though, make sure you clean it properly everyday otherwise you will get a nasty infection. my niece did not listen to me and she went through hell with it...

if the bellybutton hurts, it is because you have to apply intense pressure to pierce that many layers of tissue and old scar (because your bellybutton IS a scar, remember?). but on a 1-10, i would say that it is a 3. nipples are a 7, and the nasal septum is a 9. ears were a 2. my husband says that his phrenum was a 5, and my tounge was a 2 (or less- the worst part was the swelling for three days afterward). the fastest to heal are genital piercings-- they usually don't hurt for more than a few days. good luck!

It doesn't hurt that bad...I would say a 3.
After you get it done, don't let your pants rub it..keep them away from it...it they rub it, it will make it hurt. [also, keep it clean and keep rotating it]
I've had mine for like 5 years now.
I also have my eyebrow done....it hurt a little worse than the belly button, but not that bad. I've had it for 9 years I believe.
So, no, it doesn't hurt that bad...it's just the thought of the needle and the clamps they use....those are the scary parts.

Keeping personal opinions aside I can tell you that yes, like any peircing, getting your navel peirced hurts. But, it's not terrible pain...I'd say a 3 or 4 on the pain scale.

I agree with spudric 13 and I think belly button piercings make people look trashy and like a whore.

Let's see...steel needle through the skin of the abdomen....Yep. That's going to hurt. Belly button rings are cool, but I hate it when women pierce their nipples. They're so soft and pink and sensitive; it doesn't seem right to shove a needle through them. But, it's your decision, anyway. Pain is only temporary.

it hurts yes..you are sticking a piece of metal into your body. It hurts about as much as getting your ears peirced I though..I would say a 4

I hope so. Body piercing is one of the most moronic and grotesque things a person can do. I hope it hurts like hell.
