How big is a double bed in size? i really wish to know the lenght and also the width?

The mattress is 53" by 75". The bed itself will vary accordiing to style.

its 7 in smaller then a queen, I had a king & was going 2 get a double to sm, so I got a queen, I hope that helps u. have a good night sleep
