Marrage is defined as the union betewwn member of the opposit sex. When people of the same sex are united it is known as a civil union. I dont think it is acceptes because of the term used, besides, humans were not designed to be with people of the same sex if it were like thatthen it would be acceptable.

Why not? A piece of paper isn't going to stop someone from being gay. I wish conservatives would realize that. There are worse things that are threatening the "institution of marriage", such as infidelity, unwed mothers, divorce, and Jennifer Lopez.

Some countries like Canada and The Netherlands it is.Massachusetts also has gay marriage. Why the Bush administration and many Americans are against gay marriage is because of narrow views and poor interpretations of Bible texts.

I don't believe that there is such a thing as same sex marriage. Marriage was a union created by God which is to be kept holy and is, for obvious reasons, intended to be one man and one woman. Don't get me wrong, I am not a homophobe, and I don't hate gay people. God doesn't either. God hates the sin, not the sinner, and in our lives we all have sinned.
"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
A message to gays, lesbians, and everyone else in the world:
God loves you and wants you to spend eternity with Him. Please pray about this and turn from your sin! God Bless!

no, and it never will be in gods eyes.. homosexuals and gays are a abomination unto the lord.. that is in the bible.. god destroyed sodom and gomarrah in the bible for things like that is going on in this world today... this is a corrupt world and the devil is lose.. he comes to kill, steal and destroy... god made man,(adam) then he made a woman (eve) , and she is to be his helpmate.. and it should never be a man with a man or woman with a woman... the world is just getting so evil in these days and times...i know in one place in the bible where it talks of homosexuals and it says surely these will not see the kingdom of god.. i am not judging i am just telling you scriptures in the bible...the bible says judge not or we shall be judged... we have all sinned and come short of the glory of god.. i have done plenty wrong in my life but i ask gods forgiveness and try to turn away from the evil things in this world.....

No. But interracial marriage was illegal in some states until the late Sixties. This, too, will change.
