Violence in the world is necessary for several reasons. Guys wouldn't be able to play anything cool on computers. There would be no block buster movies. Bad guys could do anything they wanted, and nobody could stop them, violently...
But as for very good? Well, that depends if violence is a result of original sin or not...

Violence is never good, but do you know why it's unavoidable? Humans have a natural factor called "stress level". This makes human a patient one or a very easily-tempered one. So, which point of violence is good? None as a matter of fact. It's only human behaviour that can be changed.

Violence is not good for the world.Reasons for violence on increase.growth of materialism,loss of hold of church and relgions on human behaviour.Collapse of family system and emotional link are other reasons.The policy of Might is Right by USA has resulted in counter violence against US mainly by Moslems.If you go deep,the reasons for violence and war,in many parts of the world,you will find unnecessary American intervention is the major reason,.If the Moslems are permitted to live peacefully,they will allow others to live peaceful.I am not anti-American,I know the American Youth is against war and vilolence,and they are doing a lot of work.My only hope for end of violence and war is in American Youth.

Violence can be good, if we need to torment someone to get usefull information then yes it is good, or if we need to use violence to find a specific person then it will be good..
