Did anything scary happen today?

Yes,
One of the almost month old orphaned baby bunnies we are taking care of got a bubble of milk in it's lungs and almost died from it. Thanks to quick action on my part ( and knowing what to do in that instance) I managed to avert a sudden death of the bunny my husband is attached to. We had already lost the runt of the little just this Sunday.
Oh and this didn't happen today but it did happen last night about 11pm. Our male Neubian Goat got very sick very quickly. Turns out (thanks to quick actions from us and calling my daughter's grandfather who used to deal with large animals but deals with small animals now), we got a bag of ringers, Vit. B, Cortisone, Tetracycline and one other medication into him and averted a possible complete collapse of his lungs. Seems not only did he have Pneumonia, we discovered during the exam he had a nasty infection in his nose (literally, there was puss coming from the pores of the nose*Shudder*) and we found goat lice all over him. Seems breed specific lice can actually cause sever anemia, dehydration and even paralysis in the animal they are on. All symptoms he's suffering from. He's doing OK and still hanging in there but he's not out of the woods yet. Thank goodness he's a young Buck (about 2 yrs old now) and a true fighter as well. If not we would have lost him last night due to the strain it put on his body to try to breath and the pain he was in.

Fun huh? Have animals.. Anything can occur and be truly scary if your not expecting it.

Yes today I was cleaning my bedroom up and I kept hearing this noise.I looked under my bed and in my closet and found nothing.I left the room but didn't hear the noise.Went back into my room and heard the noise again.I walked very slowly and quietly to my dresser,I bent down and then I knew that the noise was coming out of the dresser drawer.Well I was a little scared but I slowly opened up the drawer and that's when all heck broke loose.I screamed first then laughed.It was my new baby kitten who had gotten stuck inside the drawer.It jumped out at me with a hiss.So that was why I screamed it nearly gave me a heart attack.True story I do not know how it had gotten in there but now I make sure my drawer is closed all the way.She was just as scared as I was and it took me a while to calm her down.

don't know, do a google on it and find out. just type in June 22nd. or do this, pick up a newspaper, open it and read all the bad news that happened, if they print any good news, now thats scary! media only prints bad news not good news.
