Here are some brief definitions that may help you, although wikipedia is a great source for information:

Cabinet: The President's various secrataries. Examples: Secretary of Defense, Secretary of Health and Human Services. There are 15 people that fill these offices.

Senate: One of the two houses of the Congress. It has 100 members, two from each state, with 6 year terms.

Liberal: Generally used to describe Democrats, or those who subsribe to "liberal" views, such as right to choose, abolish death penalty, many others (this definition is highly simplified but will do for now).

Republican: Those who are members of the Republican party, also called Conservatives (though many who are conservative are not members of the party). They generally believe in the right to life, higher defense spending, and lower social welfar spening (coupled with lower taxes).

Party: Any formal organization of people who choose a representative to run for office. There have been many parties throught the US's history, but there have only been 2 main parties at any given time.

For the rest, just look up specific terms. You might want to look up those ones, too, since my answers are very much simplified.
Also, try taking a very basic Government or American History course for a contextual framework.

If you're really interested in learning, you will want to know more than just politics. You need to learn about life so you'll be able to put politics in perspective. The best thing you can do for your brain is to head to a library. Go to the section that's geared toward people a little older than you. Learn the history of this country and then you'll understand not just the definition of political terms, but also how they came about and what they mean today. It's an exciting journey so start taking those first steps.

Wikipedia is corrected by its users. You can look up other encyclopedias for the answers.
Short version - Cabinet - appointed by President over different departments ( Defense, Interior, HEW), Senate - 2 elected officials from each state to vote & write laws, Liberal - over eager unelected whiner, Republican- one of the two major political parties - know to be business friendly, pro-life, pro family, anti tax, & defends democracy, party is division of different political groups.

Check on line but beware of either parties web sites & careful of biased news networks - they lean left to the Democrats & ultra liberal side.

You came to the wrong place for an intelligent conversation. Go to the library and read some books if you really want to learn anything about it.
