Heroin is the biggest taboo's. People see a heroin addict as a dirty street person in an alley getting off.
Welcome to the 21st century. It is every where.
As a former heroin user, it changes you, you only think of dope. If you have money, where will I score and if you have money and dope, what happens when I run out. That is the thinking of an addict.
Have you stolen from family? Have you done whatever it takes to get dope and not to get sick.
Every bag of dope could be the one that you OD on. You know what the people around you will do? Throw you to the curb, think I don't know what I am talking about. 364 days before I quit, my lover, best friend and I od'ed together. Every body screwed, just left us on the floor, with our respitory system shutting down, turning blue cos you are not breathing. The girl who's apt it was had to stay it was her house. She had the desision on who to give CPR (a very good thing to know, I've brought people back to life with CPR), since I went out first, she started with me, if she stopped and went to my friend I would die, she had to make the choice, who to save. Well I here, so you know who died, yup my friend, Nelson. Know what it's like living after that, you either quit or go on a mission. After almost to the day he died, I put down the needle.
The people who love you ae scared shitless that they will recieve that phone call that you were found dead somewhere, so you are not just doing this to yourself, but to family and friends. That's the crap you get.

Because it is not an after dinner drink or a six pack with the evening news, Because it is not prescribed by a doctor and bought at a drug store. Because the people who give you crap don't have a clue how it makes you feel when you get high.
Because of the drug addicts who have made a wonderful bad guy for Hollywood. Because it is illegal to have so the real bad guys figured out how to make a lot of money from it.
Because people are blind in one eye and see the war on drugs in the other.
Because they can mostly. Don't let them. It is your life after all, just stay away from them when you get high. They can't rag on you if they don't see you. If when they see you do not ask for money or help from them. Make sure you are independent of their help. When you take help from someone, you give them the right to step into your life and give their opinion. Take nothing from anyone and you will not have to take anything off them either.

What do you expect people to act like when they know you're using heroin? It's a bad thing to be addicted to....and secondly, it could kill you. Honestly, people do care, not only the people that are giving you crap, but most people on here. Do yourself a favor and STOP. If you can't stop on your own, check yourself into a rehab. They will help you. Someday, you'll thank me for that suggestion. Good luck!!!

Because Heroin it has the ability to destroy lives completely slowly but surely, chipping away at you, I have a family member who used for 40 years and finally droped dead walking down the street, the Doctors had told him to quit and get help because it was causing damage to his heart, please get help, love your self,
enough to live a life without drugs..They really do distroy us and our familys.

Honestly, because it is a dumb thing to do and druggies are generalized by modern entertainment as being dangerous and unstable which isn't entirely unfounded. Especcially for someone using it as long as you, it incites feelings of superiority from other people because they never fell into addiction.

Because it is a stupid and dangerous habit. People tend to be pretty aggressive with someone who is obviously self-destructive. I suspect most do it because they care about you. And since you just keep on using, the people around you probably feel being subtle about their disapproval won't work with you.
Buy a clue, my friend, before you destroy yourself.

Have you sold off everything that you own, borrowed money and not paid it back, stole from people to support your drugs, can't hold a job past your first pay day???
If so that would be good reasons to hate you...

you will die young, u don't know it yet but u will, i have seen it happen to many people. try and kick the habit or keep ruining u life and the lives of the people who love you. DO IT.Good Luck
