They were sued for racism in a class action suit. In December 2005, the Claims Administrator in the Gonzalez v. Abercrombie & Fitch discrimination lawsuit settlement sent award checks to the over ten thousand class members.

So I would think they're looking to get their act together. Go ahead and apply.

I know they have a weight restriction and size restriction. My friend works there and I plan on but I am definitley not sure if they have a certain race or ethnicity. I know that the creater/owner of abercrombie and fitch was and i think still remains racisist but I am not sure if that means they dont hire a different race other than white.

From my daughter's experience, she has been approached at least 3 times while shopping the store, if she wanted to work there. Seems they want young, attractive people, race doesn't matter. You do have to purchase and wear their clothes while employed there. Although the discounts to employees are good.
BTW-she turned it down.

I really never liked Abercrombie and Fitch. They're so racist and their clothes are made for trailor trash. I only stick to the top designers, Dolce & Gabbana, Georgio Armani and Gucci. Don't apply there, they suck! ^_^
