What do you need a job for?? Go mow some lawns or something. You can't get a real job til your 14 or something. Enjoy being a kid while you can!! A job is way too much of a commitment. I don't think you're thinking about the long term responsibilities. Forget about the money for a minute and think about what you'd be commiting yourself to.

See if there are any old people in your neighborhood that you can pull weeds out of their garden for. How about mow the lawn? Perhaps you could just try being a kid and letting your mom and dad buy what you need. Save your birthday money for the things you really want.
I let my 11 year old son babysit his younger brothers for $2 an hour and I also pay him $2 a week for scooping kitty litter. He usually makes about 12 dollars a week.

Try your local newspaper carriers. Wait at your local 7-11 or other open store at night(with parent) and talk to the person bringing the papers in or ask store clerk what time newspaper person gets there.. Or call the paper and find out where the carriers pick their papers up. It is usually late at night but only for a few hours.(inserting papers for carriers) We have kids that help us insert the papers on Sundays. that is the only day that we have to actually insert the local paper into the main copy of the paper. Home delivery people here insert every night though.
Good luck!

you're at a rough age to work, there are laws against children your age working. But if you must, try doing chores to earn money, ask neighbors if you can mow lawns, wash their cars, walk dogs, deliver newspaper, maybe run errands for older residents in the neighborhood, pet sit / feed pets when people are away on vacation, etc.

Sit on the sidewalk with a sign that says will work for food, or money or whatever. Or you could steal cows from a field and sell them at an auction for at least 150 a cow or more.

well there are options, but most likely no one will hire an 11 year old for an hourly wage job. you could try your hand at... delivering newspapers, cutting grass, painting, feeding/walking neighbors' pets, or washing cars or boats.
