There is one on my laptop... I DID NOT install it! I am pretty pissed... and would like to find out what has been logged before I delete the bugger. Anyone know how I can do this?

Most key loggers run hidden in the background. In order to see where it's storing the logs you'd have to get into the program. Most of them only open when you use a crazy key sequence - example (shift-ctrl-n or something like that). Even if you get the sequence it usually will then ask for a password before it will open. Also some key loggers do not store the info on your PC but instead email it to someone. You could do a search (Start - Search) for "*.log" and see what comes up. Usually if the person that installed it was smart they will also install it into a directory you'd never think to look in.

The first thing you should do is get brand new antivirus software, update it, and then run a full scan. Usually antivirus will detect it and also tell you the name of the program. You could then research the name and learn about it.

I'd do a system scan for spam and stuff. I had one on my computer as well, and they're usually unmarked in a random folder. One in which only the creator knows it's whereabouts. Actually, do a spyware scan of your computer, and if it's able to, you can remove it from your harddrive.
