usually at the 4th month

1 month - 1 to four weeks
2 months - 5 to eight weeks
3 months - 9 to thirteen weeks
4 months - 14 to seventeen weeks
5 months - 18 to twenty two weeks
6 months - 23 to twenty seven weeks
7 months - 28 to thirty one weeks
8 months - 32 to thirty five weeks
9 months - 36 to fourty weeks

Usually in the 5th month, according to this chart.

I am now 17 weeks along, and will be getting an ultrasound to find out the gender of my baby, along with screening for abnormalities, when I am 19 weeks along. This is the earliest that my ultrasound clinic will do the gender ultrasound, because they like the baby to be more developed before their attempt to discover the sex. In rare cases, the gender of boys is able to be known earlier, and I have a friend who was able to find out at 14 weeks along. It is much harder to tell if it is a girl, because it may actually be a boy, and his penis hasn't grown properly yet, making it look more like a vagina. My ultrasound tech said that they generally start by looking for a penis, as it is easier to distinguish.

I found out with my second baby when I was about 13 weeks that is 2 months and a half. mine was a boy so it was easier to see but anyways doctors like to stay on the safe side and wait until you are about 4 months. Good Luck

I found out at 16wks, but the doc. always saids u can't be 2 sure jus yet. So usually definitely by the 6-7mth u'll definitely kno what u're having. Jus depends on when u go 2 the doc. and get the ultrasound if the baby corporates. HAHA.
