All 15 year olds think they have the world by the a$$ you did too when you were that age.

Problem here is that he's your STEP SON and not YOUR SON and when it comes to discipline etc. that has to be the responsibility of the BIRTH PARENT not the STEP PARENT so back off or you'll just have a friggen war zone in the house until the little bugger drops out of high school and gets arrested for jackin' a car or drugs or something and ends up in jail. Then his birth parent will blame you for it all

the problem with this kind of behavior is it can lead to more dangour things whether its the family or others. the best thing to do is if its very out of hand and you have no control over him. send him to the many bootcamps that are out there. some are like scared straight but these are actually run by either ex military or current military instructors. i've seen many programs on these and the kids who have beaten their parents or out of control go to these camps and they change real fast as the indtructors will do to them as they do recuits. many who thought they were bad*****, wind up crying like babies after the instructors get done with them. but you have to look at the home also. before you got married, was the child out of hand getting whatever they wanted. the kids they hang out with makes it worse. today, most children are brought up by a single parent more and more. as they have to work, the child doesn't get the proper supervision and winds up going down the wrong path. bootcamp for children is the best answer and the best of luck.

I would stop giving him everything he wants. Set boundries and stick to them. Stand your ground if he "draws back" and consider anger management classes for him, and also consider what the circumstances are behind such an action toward you. Get dad in on the picture as well.

How long have you been in his life, If you have been his step mom for six years or more deal with as if he is your own child by talking to him and helping him redirect his energy into something positive. If not you should let his father take the lead and you stand beside him with support.

let the world whip him and he'll learn. The only way to is let someone exp. something ist hand. I know you don't want him to get hurt, but he has to learn the hard way. A hard head makes a soft behind

Check and see if your community has a boot camp they sponsor. Your local police or sheriff's department may have this information. This type of program has helped many youths cope with this problem.
Good luck.

Send him to one of those boot camps that they show on Maury Povich and other shows like that. They'll whip him into shape. Contact the Maury Povich show to see if they can get you info about these.

At that age, you are probably going to have to let him learn through experience. It isn't likely that he's willing to learn from the wisdom of his elders; the world will have to kick his butt around before he wises up.

Best of luck to you, and God bless.
