start off as friends then when you get to a level of knowing and understanding each other better than yall can disscuss the next step.other people have to realize that when you become saved you are a new person and old things pass away.you also have to realize yourself that there is a process of deliverance and that is where people get mixed up and start becoming all judmental and none is perfect and none is christ.

First of all let me say Congratulations on being saved. Life will be so much more meaningfull for you now. Yo, if she was flirting with you than she likes you. Don't hesitate until she thinks that you're not interested. Go for your chance now while you still got it. If you're worried about ruining your friendship than why don't you try asking her out to somewhere more subtle (unlike dinner & a movie) to like a place to build more of a relationship (miniature golf). All good relationships are built on friendship so if nothing else you'll gain a good friend.

Take a lot of interest in her, find out what she enjoys doing outside of Church. Find some common ground ask her as a friend but don't be afraid to open up to her most girls really like it when a guy opens up. If she understands your past she will feel more of a need in your life. Girls like to feel secure in a relationship. Good Luck.

You don't say whether you are a girl or boy.You got saved. Does this mean you are no longer gay? Either way just ask her to go out to do something mutual and casual. Just like to hang out. Test the waters. Then decide what she should know if anything.

Start slow. Go for coffee, walks in the park, movies, lunches, things like that.
Keep it very slow to ensure that your sexuality doesn't fluxuate.
1% of the population has a genuine gender assignment problem; make sure that you were "gay" because of personal choice rather than biological reasons you cannot change.
Have fun, be friends first and attend services today, pray together and go to bible studies together also.
Good luck!

hey, back up. There is nothing wrong with being gay. You didn't need to be 'saved' and don't let anyone say different.
Sounds like you may be going through lots of stages in your life, and well, just let the relationship grow slowly. If it is right, then it will grow, and if you decide you still want to date guys, go ahead.
Don't let religion screw with your head. Not safe.
luv Ava

Sorry, I can't get past the fact that you "used to be gay". Why do you think that it is so wrong to be gay? God loves people for who they are. I think that you are just trying to cover up your true sexual desires. Go with whatever is truely in your heart, not what some church tells you is right.

what the hell is wrong with you - what kind of a comment is " i was gay but then got saved"- i hope you rot in hell for saying that and i hope that girl you like realizes what a dips*it you are- here's some advice - there is nothing wrong with people having a sexual preference and I'm sure the gay community is glad your not claiming anymore-

sweetie, getting saved doesn't change you from gay to straight. you may be bisexual if you (TRULY) like this girl.
as for asking her out, if she was really flirting with you, then you're probably pretty safe!!! but i hope you will make sure you really like her & you're not just trying to block out your gay tendencies- that could lead to alot of hurt for both of you. so, be careful & be sure.
