i use xp windows on both computers.one is a compaq other a dell.we new to dsl /wireless.our java is updated.verizon i sour internet server.iuse d-link wireless connection.he usues dsl unit.main page is fine.it is secondary window-it shrinks.when we were dial up-it did this-bu twe were able to click a tthe top of the secondary window -it would be a yellow line all way across-we would double click it on active x line and it would open righht back up to proper size.now we both dsl,it not worknig! no yellow line to double click to open to correct size.both computers new.java updated,and checke dto run on internet explorer.how we fix this? example:pogo.com we members.go there-pick pop-fu game.i tloads to page.then you need to pick a room.whne you do a second window opens-you can actually see this blibk 2-3 times and shrink-it then loads inbut at the bottom you can not click to chat or click on the emoticons to use in chat.how we fix this on both systems?dial up method works fine.please help

I've had the same problem before, except in the opposite direction. When I had dialup I could see the yellow line, but clicking it had no effect. When I upgraded to DSL it went away totally, but the administrator became super-conscious of hackers and viruses, so disabled cookies which means I still can't do chat rooms (grr).
Try installing the Windows XP patch, because the size of secondary popup windows is not a Java problem, it's an XP problem. If that doesn't work, try installing an overlay platform OS on top of XP for your chat experiences. Something with improved interpretation of Java Applet codex (Java is sending the signal to windows to open a new window, and this instruction is sometimes faulty, but sometimes the pupil doesn't listen properly).
