Look at it like this, Dave is funny and sometimes throws pencils at people (that's why his pencils are eraser at both ends), Jay only get's laughs because of his chin and he uses too many prop gags.

Conan O' Brien and Jimmy Kimmel, over Jay and Dave. Sad but true, they are all round funnier though Jay and Dave have more money to get better props and jokes but they don't.

I agree completely with joyfulnoize, leno is down to earth, and is therefore more approchable as a host, and also more relatable to the audience...
dave is fairly good as a host, but i couldn't say the same about him as a stand up, or a comedian as a whole...

DEFINITELY Jay Leno..letterman isn't funny at all..never has been...he's really lame...he makes himself laugh...he just seems like he could care less who's there..Jay on the other hand is hilarious, and you can tell he genuinely is interested in his guests...not to mention he's ACTUALLY FUNNY.

I like Jay Leno. Maybe because I grew up watching him before bed with my grandma. I don't know. I like the Headlines section of the show.
