Without a doubt the Atlanta Braves. No one has even come close to doing what the Braves have done for over a decade. As far as the playoffs are concerned, any team can win a five game series, (as weve seen) but how many teams can win their division, by a substantial margin I must add, year after year?? NO ONE!!! Last year with all of their injuries and having to bring up so many guys from the minors and having them do as well as they did, (Jeff Franceuor, Brian McCann) thats just great baseball. No one will remember who won the World Series five years ago, but everybody will remember the Braves DOMINATING the N.L. East year after year. Theres no other choice in my mind the ATLANTA BRAVES BABY!!!

By far it has to be the 1998 Yankees, they dominated from beginning to end and when I say end I mean they dominated the WORLD SERIES and won it all. This was by far the most professional and motivated team of baseball players I have ever seen. Yeah sure there were superstars and some good hitting, but this team was filled with guys filling roles and exceeding expectations when the time came to step up and perform. There wasn't a guy who hit over 35 home runs during a period where guys were hitting 60+ home runs, place hitting, base running and guys playing the right way is all I saw from this lineup of young players and "has beens". The bullpen was one of the best of all time too with a young Mariano Rivera throwing close to 99 MPH and his slider and he was developing cut fastball which is now his out pitch.
This was a perfect assebly of players that played as a team and not as a bunch of superstar indivduals.
To be the best team of the last 25 years you have to have won the World Series, your division and had the best record in baseball. The 1998 Yankees did this and more!

the oakland athletics, especially if u count the last 35 years. 3 ws in the 70's, then although only 1 in the 80's they made it to more, and in the 00's with the big 3 they've continued their success. mostly the've just always managed 2 b good and hardly ever missing the playoffs

I say the Arizona Diamondbacks. They are the first team in years to beat the Yanks. They had two of the best pitchers of all time. Johnson and Chilling
