READ THIS FIRST: Back in the days when Diskettes were the media for data storage, with size of 1.44MB, a user, who need an immediate increase of dikette space can attain up to 2.56MB, where the addition 1.12MB would be taken away from the hand drive itself. I want to be able to do the same thing to a 256MB flash drive, adding 38MB more to be used by the hard drive, while being able to add 38MB data more. How can I achieve this? Should it be formatted? What other options do I have?

Keep note, my computer does not have a CD burner, so as much as I would love to have 700MB quick addition, I cannot do it with this old pc. So burning is out of the question.
