I have never purchased an umbrella.
I eschew walking under an umbrella, even when offered.
I think that umbrellas should be illegal in New York City.
Just a pet peeve of mine.

Now you're just being silly. What's wrong with carrying an umbrella? Most of the Men in Great Britain carry one. If you like being wet, by all means don't buy one. Otherwise, go get a nice sensible black umbrella that will calm your male sensibilities, yet will keep you nice and dry.

My husband has brought umbrellas and he's definitely straight. That doesn't mean he can actually find an umbrella when he wants one. All the umbrellas in our house disappear into some black hole.

umm...am i missing something here, whats wrong wit a dude buying an umbrella for himself...as long as it isnt a vibrant color like a hot pink whats wrong wit it...a nice black or navy blue....if i was i guy i wouldnt want to be soak and wet from the rain!
