True love? Can't be more than 15% - otherwise, there would be more people saying intelligent things about it.
Many, many - far too many - marriages today are driven by what the other person can provide for "me": can this man support me? Does he want a family? Will he make enough money so we can be luxurious and go on vacations? OR Will this woman stay at home? Will she stay slim after the children? Does she want kids? Does she not want kids and have a high paying job so we'll both have money to spend?
Be honest - these are the marriages we see everyday - and then one or the other wakes up when they are 35 and says "I'm not in love with my spouse" - as if you ever were?!
Rarely is it about "this is the one for me ... doesn't matter where we go or what we do -- BEING with her is what's important."
On second thought, maybe 15% is too high ...

Define 'true love'. I dont think anyone can. If you think true love is an emotion....emotions change over the years and cannot be depended upon. 'True love' boils down to this.....Can i be committed to this person even when the 'feelings of love' aren't there? So, we can tell by the divorce rate in USA how many are really committed to 'true love'.

I have not clue lol. But I am happily married and very much in love so i guess i am one of the lucky ones in love!

I thought I found mine,, I still want to believe I did,,
I don't think love is about luck though, I think its about the investment you put in it.
I know for sure its about respecting one anothers space and not making decisions without consulting the other first.
That became really clear recently.

Honest to Goodness, "TRUE LOVE?". I don't think but half the people ever find true love, but we all find a reasonable facsimile, sooner or later. So, my answer is 50%.

Just a guess, but 48%. The rest are either alone, or just settling.
