Judgeing from how he handled the Katrina disaster I would say it doesn't appear that he care at all for blacks.

Last time I knew Nagin was the Mayor of New Orleans and Blanco was the Govenor when Katrina hit. So why on earth would you or anyone else blame the President for the people you voted in and their incompetence! Bush does NOT hate any race or he would not be where he is today..c'mon think about that for just a few minutes...sounds silly doesnt it?

Yeah, but based on the fact that he has more blacks in upper level positions of his administration than any other President tells me a different story. Don't you think it's part of the sad human experience that poor people get less and slower help than the rich? Wouldn't Beverly Hills have been better assisted simply because they are rich? It's not about race.

Some people are just simple minded. Bush appointed Colan Powell and Condalisa Rice to two of the highest offices in the country. That doesn't sound like anything, any of the racists I know would do.

I personally don't think he does. I think it was horrible the way he handled Katrina, but when 9\11 happened it was all quick and speedy. Plus with Katrina we were forewarned.

I'm white and i can see how racist he is. But I think with Katrina he also shows how much hates poor people, black and white.

Yes...though I doubt Katrina brought it out...Katrina affect a LOT of people.

I just think he is elitist and views Blacks as "beneath" him.
