Yes, some of them are free to download, but most of what I've downloaded from the new napster I paid $0.99 for. Even with the files I paid for, I can't put them on my mp3 player, or even listen to them on SimCity 4. Can someone tell me how I can remove the protection from these files so I can actually use them somewhere other than Napster? to the guy that said to burn them.... yeah, that would work if it wasnt napster and that they make sure you dont burn unless it's through them... i've wasted 4 dvds already... nice try, but not the correct answer.

Burn them to a -RW or +RW CD and put them back on, they will no longer be protected.

you can copy them using "File"... "SAVE AS..." using different name tag.... the new copied file has no protection:)
