No. The United States will probably soon be the old threat. The new threat is China. There are more than a billion Chinese, and they are growing very strong economically. Furthermore, they have a frightening disregard for cultures other than their own, as evidenced by the ruthlessness with which they have been overtaking Tibet.

If anything China is...we're just the same semi-corrupt but rich country that we've always been. I'd say we were a lot worse when we killed the natives and the people in the philliphines....now were actually quite tame.
China just bought missile technology from the Clinton admin, and they're one of the few fastest growing economies but one of the highest infringing governments in the world...as far as rights goes.
In America I can crap on the presidents lawn and just get a few days in jail, so I'd say it's a bit easier to live here and it's a lot less likely that evil sows it's thorns in here, as much as it could in China.

This question depends on who you ask and what policital perswation you are. The GOP Republicans will tell you No. The Liberal Democrats will tell you Yes. We are the only super power in the world and we forcefully push our agenda on the rest of the world so I would have to say Yes. If you Look at how the rest of the world sees us then you would come to this comclusion.

What have you been reading.
We went to war with Iraq for a good cause and after we took out Saddam we put Iraq back on its feet and held free election.
The US set Iraq back on it own path. This has only been done by a free country .
Just how is this a threat to any free loving people.

I believe it is, and so do much of the rest of the world. America lost a lot of respect and trust when the grinning imbecile was elected and when he lied about wmd in Iran and kept changing the reason as each lied proved false.
And for repugs quoting the same lies with a straight face!.

Yes she is. She is always critizing other nations for boost spending on military. Comparing to the amount of money US put into military, other nations is only using a fraction of what US spends. She attack other nations without sufficient evidence. She creates the UN and won't go through UN to resolve problem. She is going back to the mistake she made after WWI of ignoring UN. She always blame other nations for the wrongdoing. UK takes the blame for giving wrong intel.

We were attacked and we responded. How does that equate to a world threat? Because we fought back or that we are winning?

No, not a new threat, just the same old one. We want everyone on the planet to have the same rights and freedoms that we have.
