No. It is not possible to to prove 100% that god does not exist. Nor is it possible to prove 100% that the Loch Nees Monster, Bigfoot or purple unicorns with orange spots do not exist.
It is almost impossible to prove a negative.
The question should be can you prove that god does exist.

If there is a God as understood by Christian interpretation, I can only think s/he/it does not really want people to believe. Why?
This God who knows everything sees fit to send to the world documents which over centuries lose the strength of the arguments, falls prey to other competiting sources, full of contradictory statements that not even fully fledged theists totally accept and that is understood differently by each group of believers?
Surely, this God is having a laugh if that's the best proof available on offer since this God would know the human capacity to investigate and question.

tammy- if you " know for a fact that god exists "..then you can prove this fact, I presume? Because if you can't, its not a fact. Its just a personal belief.
There used to be plenty of folk who believed the Earth was flat, and that belief wasn't based on any proof either. So dont call anything which cant be repeatedly proven a "fact"

The day that someone shows me hard evidence of god's existence is the day i will start to believe. Is someone seriously telling me that there is no evidence to prove god's existence, that we have to take it on faith alone? Yet we can examine evidence and talk about the migration movements of Homo erectus(ancient ancestors) over half a million years ago?

Well, its either one can prove that he does exist or prove that he doesn't.
I like your question and it should be for those who think He doesn't exist. I mean, there is so much to prove that he infact does exist but i don't see why one 'd think He doesn't. If you think He doesn't, what makes you think so?
Think about it, if there was no President, No teacher, No example, where 'd we be, what 'd we know, how 'd we live?
I know that he does in fact exist, so i can not prove that he doesn't. God exists.

Man, being gifted with a logical, rational mind, refuses to believe anything without proof.
God refuses to prove his exhistance, for proof percludes faith, and without faith, god ceases to have meaning.
Man, lacking proof, refuses to believe in god, thus eliminating faith, and with it, god's existance within our universe.
