I want to know what the blind uses to learn how to count as a child. it's a school project. Please help.

you dont have to visualize something to count it..when they are taught im guessing that they can be GIVEN one marble..or two...and so on. obviously, once they learn to count, they cant count something from far away..they would have to be able to touch it.

get in touch with your nearest blind institute. they learn braille which is raised dots on paper to identify letters , maybe they do the same with numbers .it is easier to count by touching a few things and saying one .two ,three etc

Brail. You have to remember, blind is not deaf and deaf is not blind unless both. Blind persons use Brail to read, write. Just look on the crossroads at your intersections, the read out at the supermarket counters, they have brail to help with the disabled.

Braille. Also I don't know about American bills but on the Canadian bills the number of the bill, for example a five bill, is in braille in the left hand corner, slightly down from the top of the bill.
