Sears tower terrorists...?

How do you feel knowing they captured 7 terrorists in Miami who were attempting to go blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago? Creepy, huh? But also slightly comforting to know that we caught them.

Before I start, I'll state that I'm not at all worried about terrorists. My chances of dying from cancer are thousands of times greater. Fear gives politicians power and the media viewers and readers.

When I first heard the news that 7 terrorists who were plotting to blow up the Sears Tower plus some government buildings were captured I was quite happy. Then Fox News started interviewing people in the Liberty City ghetto section of Miami. A youngster said that the alleged terrorists who were "small" planned to open a karate school. They stood guard outside their rented warehouse where some of them lived. As best I can tell they dressed like ninjas and exercised in that uniform outside the warehouse.

Then a mysterious spokesman for the "Sea of David" gang was interviewed. His main message is that "we ain't no terrorists". The guy was barely literate.

The US government found no illegal weapons. The Sea of David's al Qaeda contact was a government plant. These pathetic people were no terrorist threat. They were no more capable of blowing up the Sears Tower, or a South Beach hotdog stand for that matter than Sponge Bob Square Pants.

This is nothing more than a desparate Bush Administration trying to prop up a failed presidency. It's alarming that they think they can get away with it. The Miami incident is no worse than a lonely teenager phoning in a bomb threat to his high school.

well our "sitting president" is just that sitting and watching his oil assets, he has no concern for anyone but his own people. Honestly people who vote their party line, and only their party line have no concept of what their parties have done to this country. I don't care if the next president is democratic or republican. The president should at least be able to speak and pronounce his English words. Also know better than to make a joke about a reporter who has degenerative eye disease. How stupid can a chimp I mean president be. Anyways the president is just a puppet it is all the other people that run the government, the president is really just a public idiot, I mean public figure It just so happens that this president proves he as president does not know what is going on in our own country

I didn't, please give us a link if you can. I do know NYC has been targeted at least 6 times - the highest in the nation, yet they cut thier funding 40%! What gives!

I do know of one routine stop where they caught a guy all ready to hit the Empire State Building - before the Trade Towers were ever hit, completely by accident! They way you feel about them being caught is the same way we felt then! The war on terror was on our side that day, amen.

I notice they just happen to be followers of islam, the religion of peace. But of course that has nothing to do with it. They could have been Lutherans or Jews or Methodists. They "just happen" to be muslims.
