Selling by owner is always tough but you can make a lot of additional money. I would start by putting up a sign either in the front lawn or window depending on what your community will allow. Then start posting an ad in the local newspaper. Word of mouth is also an excellent way to spread the news. Tell everyone and ask if they would know if anyone is intersted. Beyond that brainstorm your location, and if there is a community that would soon be interested in purchasing a condo, such as recent college grads. People working and getting thier masters might be the right audience.

Good luck!

Put up a sign "for sale by owner". There are some web sites that cover this sort of thing. Clark Howard had something about that on his radio show the other day. Try his site. I think it is just clarkhoward.com.

When Buyers are considering a FSBO, they usually factor in the commission you are saving and will bid less.

In the long run, you might be better off using a broker. They do take care of a lot of the menial work.
