That's like asking, Why do all women love buy shoes. It's just a sterotype or something, not all guys like football, I hate watching football on TV and I would never have the courage to play it.

My nemesis when I was in High School was that Jockstrap with the whistle around his neck....do they still call them gym teachers?

I for one am not, but I think that it is because they have too much testoserone. That and they want to show other men that they are manly. Football is all about brut strenth and a little stratagy.

Because is an agressive sport, male tend to like hard physical contact. This sport is a matter of stregth, velocity and good plays.
Also because they like to have some time to support where they fell identified with.

I LOVE FOOTBALL! And I'm a woman. My husband loves it too. We are EAGLES fans. I'm not sure why we're all obsessed though, it's fun to watch...

I don't care for it either. Never could understand the rules. I don't like Basketball either.
I think I just like sports where its one against one. I group Baseball in this since the batter goes against the pitcher or baseman ect.
