Easily people could say that rappers like Jay-Z, Nas, Biggie and 2pac can be called great MCs but why what sets them apart from someone like Jada or Eminem who are also great MCs.

This is the list you will all recognize and follow as the best damn rappers who ever lived. From Kane who is #1 to Tupac who makes the list at #10 due to his delivery; not his lyrics. He is the most overrated rapper there ever was. People could relate to his sh!t though. Do not stray from this list. Do not be stupid. I know what is right...trust me.

what makes a great MC is longevity. Ice Cube is one of the best because he was great in NWA and he was great solo. As much as I hate to admit even LL Cool J is a great MC. The average career of a rapper is two albums because they always end up biting someone elses style.

The lyrics and the MC how strong they feel their own truth is basically how real they are and how well they tell their story.
