Though I am not a liberal, I have found that wacko conservatives are more stubborn know it alls than are liberals. Personally, I think both are retarded, but that's just the opinion of a hard line moderate.

People have different opinions that have merit from their various perspectives. In politics, the forces of conservatism and liberalism go back and forth over time like a seesaw, balancing the effects of each other so that society doesn't fall into excessive trends, making both sides essential for the long term health of the country.

What the people of this country need to keep in mind is that we are all Americans, first and foremost. Political debate is healthy for reaching solutions and compromises so that the greater good is achieved for the country as a whole. This debate is best fulfilled by discussing issues and addressing the various concerns and interests involved.

This entire process requires a great deal of thought that is enough to challenge the most brilliant of minds. Nevertheless, we who live within this democracy are obligated to participate in a thoughtful manner by voting and discussing the issues which can only be accomplished through civil and open discussion.

It's a big and competitive world out there. America needs to come together as one. The current divide between the so called "Red States" and "Blue States" is counter productive when people begin to close their eyes to issues and simply align themselves along party lines.

The American experiment is still young and evolving. Whether it continues successfully will depend on all of us.

I'm not hard core liberal...that's just what people call me because I don't take a side, I have my "yes" and "No's" for both sides


some liberals are annoying and make the rest of us look bad


there may be no real answer for why they make your stomach turn...some of them just have that lovely affect on people

It is the fact that with them, everything is gray. There is no black and white, no good or evil, no sinners or saints.
This extends and appears to be a know-it-all, i am better than you attitude because they are not "judgemental." In other words, they have no balls whatsoever and are unable to make decisions for themselves, which is why they think that everyone needs the help of the government in some way.
The Godless attitude is an extension of that as well because God is good and there is no good, only gray areas of behavior.

They turn my stomach because the crap they want to feed me makes me want to throw up. Their Godless outlook and philosophy comes from a very strong atheist constituency and their refusal to make personal responsibility a human virtue instead of a weakness.

Could easily be the Godless in them ; but I tend to also believe it is their treasonous behavior towards our country as well as the way they delight in giving aid & comfort to the enemy , while giving off"hell and be damned" vibes to U.S. and coalition troops while in harm's way .
Then too, it could also be the way they bring an air of gloom and doom upon all that's good and positive .
