how do you make potion with ur alchemy skill in oblivion for the xbox360?

i really want to know how to make a health potion

How to make potions:

"Equip" your Mortar&Pestle from the equipment menu.
Choose a first ingredient.
Choose a second ingredient that has at least 1 identical effect.*
Repeat for ingredients 3 & 4 if you want.
Press the "Create" button, and poof, you've got a potion (or poison if all effects are negative**)

If you're a Novice in Alchemy, start by making Restore Fatigues and selling them since the ingredients for those are cheap. You'll make a little money and level up your Alchemy skill.

Once you reach Apprentice level, Cairn Bolete and Ham will probably be the easiest Restore Health ingredients to get early on, later in the game you'll be getting lots of Daedra Hearts.

* At Master level, only one ingredient is required to make a potion with that ingredient's first effect.

** The exception to the poison rule is trying to make them out of Poison Apples at Master level Alchemy, it will just be an instant death potion

I believe you have to have at least a Morter and Pestle and a Calcinator (could be an Alembec, not sure). But get yourself the whole kit (join the Mages Guild and you can get a full novice set), your potions will be stronger. Then, you need to have two ingredients (like ham and lavender sprig) to make a health potion. Once you become an expert, can make certain potions with one ingredient,

yah i know i can't find any ingredients for potions. that game is fun though. hard, but fun.
