Lake House - previous movie similar plot as Lake House???

I've seen a movie where two people communicate through letters placed in a secret compartment of an antique work desk. Does anyone remember the title or who starred in that movie? I can't stop wondering. Thanks

I saw that movie, It was on the Hallmark channel ages ago..
I can't remember the name of it.
That was a good movie.
