My Father In-Law received $20,000. I believe that's what every surviving person got.

Very few were living and it was about 10 cents on the dollar and I think it was just a few years ago they got anything!

We didn't give them back their grape orchards in Napa Valley.

And while of Japanese descent, all were Americans and most born in this country!

Whatever they got im sure it doesn't make up for what they lost.

They never did this to those of german descent (of which I am). It a horrible horrible thing.

Something like $50,000 and the U.S. government even admitted that they made many huge mistakes while handling this. I know of at least one fellow who donated his payout to charity.
