Because he sold his soul to get fame and fortune. And he is a pathetic puppet who follows Angelina around dropping his morals and beliefs as he goes along with whatever bullcrap she comes up with. He may look nice on the outside, but inside is empty.

First he was blessed to be born with good looks and personality, then he applied himself to do well at his acting craft --- then he turned in good performances in the roles that he was offered, for example he was hot in his early career hit movie 'Thelma and Louise'. Brad has been smart enough to keep his image good as opposed to engaging in negative things that would turn off his fans (dating Paris Hilton for example). Marrying hot popular Jennifer Aniston of 'Friends' was a good move, also being in a loving relationship with super-hot & popular Ms Jolie continues to add to Brad's own popularity.

He's been in alot of popular tv shows and movies... is a good versatile actor... and has made some good career moves.
He probably has a killer Public Relations team, the best personal assistant, and some good Missouri horse sense of his own.
