we are adding students from 2 schools and need to change the current 7 period day to a modified block with 90 minutes for LA and Math

I think you need to be more specific.
How many class periods do you want to have in a day?
Our school has 6 periods, but we also have a block schedule.
Example:
Mon. 1-6
Tues 1,F(foundations),2,4,5
Wed. 1,F,3,4,6
Thurs 2,F,3,5,6
Fri 1-6
That is how it is at our school.
I have no clue what LA means for your schedule, but if it's like our foundations, a block schedule helps.
If you are more specific, I think I might be able to help. I'm sorry if this is useless information.

just dont do them.. kids like recess more.
