How important is it to you? If you've talked with your boss about how important it is to you, consider whether it is important enough to you to quit your job. Can you find something else that pays well enough and makes you as happy as your current job? The other alternative is to find something that you can do on your new day off. If not karate, perhaps another activity. It's difficult, but you simply need to make a decision now. What's more important?

You can change your Karaty days to another day, or get another job.... You chose the job knowing that it could mean working saturdays, so you have no complaints.

Not trying to be mean, but you might just have to live with it. Your job, gives you money and a way to pay bills. If you stay there long enough. You may just be able to work your way up the ladder and eventually get Saturdays off. Or you could just get another day for karate.

If you listed Saturdays as an "off day" on your pre-employment application, then your employer is obligated to giving you said day off. An application is a form of a contract, and they must abide by it as you must. I've been in this situation when I was in HS.
