Does anyone else find these stores really really annoying? I do because that is all girls wear at my school....Hollister, Abercrombie, and for the "scene" kids, Delia's. All those stores are so... boring and overrated. ((I actually like American Eagle, so I didnt name that one :) ))

that is so mean...that "two wongs dont make a white"...
All of Hollister's rippped clothing may be considered "sheek" to some, but it just shows the vanity of people; before ripped jeans were "cool" they were considered flithy, and if you wore them, you were poor....I dont get it..(I have always owned ripped jeans, that I DIDNT rip myself.)

well to be honest, hollister and abercrombie's clothes are very cheap made - yes i said it, even though i used to work at abercrombie. also i didn't like the way my coworkers treated the customers, so i quit that stupid job. they're not only racist against black, asians and hispanic are also the victims of my coworkers. lol
you can easily tell the differences when an asian walk in the store and a white person walk in the store, the asian would just walk around on her own and being ignored for as long as she stays in the store, while the white person, being greeted like "hi welcome to abercrombie & fitch how may i help you today?" with a big cheesy smile. also have you seen a graphic tee which says "two wong's don't make one white" - it's racist indeed("wong" is supposedly a last name for chinese). so i say both stores are stupid. and i agree with you, i love american eagle too :)

I UNDERSTAND WHY YOU FIND HOLLISTER/ABERCROMBIE STORES ANNOYING. FOR EXAMPLE, WHAT ABOUT ALL OF THE ABERCROMBIE ITEMS THAT HAVE EITHER A MOOSE ON THEM, 1982 WRITTEN ON THEM, OR THE LABEL ABERCROMBIE ALL OVER IT? IN MY OPINION, IT'S JUST A WAY TO ADVERTISE AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN FOND OF THESE TYPE OF CLOTHES. BY BUYING SOMETHING FROM ABERCROMBIE/HOLLISTER, THERE IS AN EXTREMELY LARGE CHANCE THAT ANOTHER PERSON IN THE SAME MALL WILL HAVE THE SAME PIECE OF CLOTHING. TRUST ME, MANY TIMES, I HAVE BEEN CAUGHT WEARING THE SAME HOLLISTER SKIRT AS MY CLASSMATES... IT SUCKS.
HOWEVER, SOME PPL MAY NOT FIND HOLLISTER/ABERCROMBIE TO BE ANNOYING BECAUSE THEY MIGHT BUY THE LESS IDENTIFIABLE PIECES OF CLOTHING SUCH AS A PAIR OF JEANS, A PAIR OF SWEATPANTS, OR A CUTE LACE CAMI. ABERCROMBIE AND HOLLISTER HAVE SOME VERY CUTE STUFF... CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG... BUT SOME OF THE MORE BORING SHIRTS THAT SAY ABERCROMBIE ARE WORN BY THOSE WHO LIKE TO HAVE PPL KNOW WHERE THEY SHOP. EX. some ppl who like abercrombie labeled shirts might be those who were ubsessed with wearing north face fleeces and uggs. these are followers, not ppl who start trends, so hollister/abercrombie is probably heaven to these types.
WOW TIRED FROM WRITING!!! HOPE THIS HELPS :)

Dont shop either! They are over-rated and OVER-priced. Unfortunately, they are also over-shopped as well which means you run the risk of running into your "fashion twin" struting across campus or catwalking the halls. What a nightmare!!!!!
Don't let it happen to you - GO VINTAGE. Most of the stuff selling in the "big box" mall shops are just stuff their designers knock-off from vintage originals. Trust me, I know this first hand as I used to work fashion on the corporate end. It's a sad thing to say but originality doesn't seem to be a requirement for corporate design teams anymore.
Why not visit a local thrift store or online vintage shop *like mine ;)* and pick some cool items from there? You'll have your fashion friends all wishing they had stuff like yours which they can't, as most places only sell one of a kind items. Another great benefit is you'll spend alot less money which means you'll have more money to do what women love best.....SHOP!
Good luck and email me some of your great finds!

YES I AGREE!!!!
those stores are so racist. I knew this odel that was black, and about 2 years ago they fired her because she wasn't the right image they were trying to portray. All her other white friends wern't fired. People didn't believe me when I said this, but then that whole court case came up, utterly disgusting.
