"Broadband internet" is any high-speed Internet, particularly cable, DSL, fiber, and satellite. Wireless internet is of two forms: WiFi, which is a local wireless network provided by retail equipment operated by end users (no subscription), and cellphone-type wireless Internet, which works over cellphones. (There are also less common networks that work like cellphones, i.e., their range is everywhere and they require a subscription, and there is also WiMax, which is somehwat between WiFi and the cellphone-type Internet). Sometimes companies refer to broadband wireless, which is basically high-speed wireless subscription service.

Broadband Internet means high-speed Internet which is always connected (It doesn't matter how are u connected to the server).
Wireless Internet has its explanation on its name,it isn't about the bandwidth its about how u are connected (without any wire!).
For connecting your DS to Internet there Two ways:
1- To get wireless Internet and a wireless router to connect your DS to it.
2- If you have a broadband connection to your computer at home, Nintendo itself sells a USB device which u connect it to your computer and your DS will connect to Nintendo WI Fi using it.

Broadband is a higher level of internet delivered analog. There is dialup which is self explanatory. Broadband is internet delivered over the same medium but utilizing higher frequencies to move more data. Then there is digitial services, ie T1, T3, etc. Wireless is just one of those services delivered to you via a "wireless" connection.

Generally speaking Broad band internet is a connection which supports large amounts of data transfer per second. any connection above 500kbps would qualify as broad band(in india 256kbps is also considered broad band)

most wireleess internets support that much data transfer.so i think it pretty much qualifys as broad band
