If you have been on birth control for long time it can actually take time for you to convieve. My doctor had told me as much as a year or so. And it did take about a year and half for me.

The first thing you need to do is relax. Stress isn't your friend at all. It may take some time, but relax and let it happen. You'll find that if you take your mind of wanting a child so bad, that you'll start to enjoy it more and who knows what'll happen.

If you need a little reassurance that there's nothing wrong, call your OB/GYN and set up an appointment.

It could be a number of things. Low sperm/Slow sperm is caused by many factors, including stress and smoking. Also, you may not ovulate as often or at the times you think. I would go to the dollar store and get a bunch of ovulation tests to try to pinpoint your ovulation. Additionally, I'd go to the doctor and get checked out. Get your man to go too.

Marriage isn't for everyone. Seems like everyone I know who dated for 1-5 year and then got married, ended up divorcing within 24 months from the wedding. So long as you both are committed to each other, no piece of paper is going to change that. Peace.

Have his sperm count checked.
If he wears tight underwear, he could be over heating his sperm.
Sperm must be kept at lower than body temperature to survive, prior to being inseminated.

Have him go with loose boxers or commando for a month and then try.

Also , try buying an ovulation test at the drug store so you know when you are fertile

Go on a nice relaxing vacation, I have heard that when this happens, sometimes couples wind up pregnant shortly after. But I also agree with the others ,and I don't want to judge ,But being married ,psychologically could also help .Good luck!

what type of underwear does your bf wear? Boxers are preferred as testicles produce more and better semen of they are kept a few degrees cooler than the rest of the body.
do you have a hot tub or does he take incredibly hot showers. this increases the testicle temperature and decreases the sperm production.
as you stressed out. increasing stress can manipulate the female hormones and decrease successful ovulation.
is the bf sterile...does he have motile sperm...
are you sterile, do you have motile cilia? have you had a lot of std's that could have scarred your fallopian tubes?
you may need to see a fertility specialist...
does he ejaculate inside of you or outside?
how old are you both?
good luck

Have you tried to use one of those ovulation kits? They tell you when you will be ovulating. It'll help the two of you figure out when your chances are greater for conception. If you've tried that, then I'd make an appointment with your doctors to help you figure out what the problem may be. And ways to correct it.

There could be many reasons why. maybe your tubes are blocked. Maybe his sperm is not healthy enough.
See a Doctor who specializes in female problems, and get it checked out. This doctor could refer you to other pregnancy clinics.
The cost could be pretty steep, so you might just want to keep trying.
Hope

Both you and your boyfriend need to see a Dr. It may not be you. The only way to know, is to seek medical testing. Good Luck in your endeavor

you both should go for a complete check up to make sure that there"s no medical reasons involved. If everything checks out there, then maybe you are just trying to hard.
