It happened in Florida and again in Illinois this year... the family in Florida even made up this big outrageous story that implicated a child molester in a white van...
The family in Illinois set their whole house on fire and locked the kid inside.
It's absolutely sick and wrong... but what causes it?

I have a son who has Autism and he is my world. Although he can be trying, when I look in his eyes all I see is sweet innocence.
I can't imagine going to those lengths. I don't even spank my kids.
My heart breaks when I hear stories like that because it is not only with Autistic kids, people do it to kids with other special needs. There was a woman in Quebec Canada who poisoned her mentally and physically handicapped kid - her excuse was to save her from pain, but I believe it was to save her - the mother- from all the effort and work that went into taking care of her child.
I met a woman online with an adopted child with ADHD, whose husband could not deal with the child and so he left her to deal with the bills, the child and everything else. It's hard work but to me its harder to take the life of my own flesh and blood.

Autistic kids are extremely hard to care for . They are aggressive and show very little loving emotion. There is little out there for assistance and when your family is on hard times having a child with a disability makes it even harder. I am sure these people were at the end of there rope, NOT TO EXCUSE WHAT THEY HAVE DONE IN ANYWAY. But having a Brother who is disabled I can see the trials in a different light. They should have taken care of this in a different way. There are agencies that do offer assistance but they are costly and very few spots available. What was done to these children was wrong and they should be punished, but I can see how it got so out of hand!!!!

because it's sad.
news broadcasting stations make money by showing you sad things.
also
it is very hard to live with an autistic child.
it cannot be cured
and it makes the parents feel guilty
there are, thank you ever so much Giraldo Rivera, no longer places offering respite care/ asylum so the families have to deal with situations which they cannot handle normally.
in some ways that is a merciful thing to do. the other option for some families is making them wards of the state.
being a mentally ill ward of the state is a very bad situation to be in. just to put it lightly.
in order to get services in the city of Chicago for your disabled child, you have to sue the Board of Ed. so wards of the state do not get proper care.
blaming other people is quite normal human behavior.

It's something that could never be answered. Being lack of help,support,money or just finding themselves in a situation they can no longer resist living...we will never really know. Who knows what goes thru a persons mind at the time they are doing something like this. If it was a moment of just loosing their sanity lets hope they never come back to reality because the truth of the situation will haunt and hurt them more than what they decided to do.

you may want to not kill your self once you're not any further the problem. those human beings have the problem. you need to realized that you're more effective superior than you imagine you're and a much more effective positive human being to have lengthy gone by what you've. Being raised adverse is not any reason to kill your self, you've been more effective fortunate than a good number of different young ones contained in the international to be on welfare. existence is with out that is themes yet you're at an age the position you are able to restoration your issues.

Autistic children are very hard to deal with, but that is no excuse to kill them, they did not asked to be born that way. I do not know what makes people flip out and kill their children, but they blame someone else because they know it is wrong and are trying to get away with it. Sick, sick, sick.
