No it's not.....how old are you? It's just a fictional movie, it's like a different version of Cinderalla.

It's kinda like the DaVinci Code ain't it?

Wouldn't we all like to believe that the current Royalty in France (if any) aside from the Monaco family i.e. Prince Albert, Princesses Caroline & Stephanie, that Cinderella's descendants are running around somewhere in France, lol.
I did however love the fresh take on an old fairy tale in that Cinderella (played wonderfully by Drew Barrymore) was ballsy, strong & needn't wait for her Prince Charming to rescue her, instead SHE rescues him - now that's what I call a fairytale=)

I think every girl or woman should have a few fairy tails to believe in. (It makes life just a little sweeter.) If Ever After is the tail that you think it's true then that's awesome.
Personally, I love that movie.
It makes me think that there might actually be a prince charming just for me.
It's a happy thought that gets you through the day.

It is supposed to be the real Cinderella story... to the writers it is true.
However, the same was said about BWP (proven 100% not real) and TCM (proven to be only 1/2 true)...
So it depends on what you want to call true. Possible yes... but likely no.

"Ever After" is based on the "Cinderella" story. It isn't a true story. Just made out to make you look at it as if it was a true story. Great movie though.
