~Get a job, move out and get your own place and make your own rules. If you're too young to do that, get used to the idea that it's your mom's (and dad's?) house and they get to make the rules. Live with it. If I was noseygirls parent, I'd have shot the dog. And maybe her.

start taking care of the pets you have now-really really well. do everything for them so your mom has little to do with them. do this for a while but don't make a big deal about it or else you'll be annoying. after a week or two ask again if she says no then tell her all the things you've been doing for the current animals and what you will do for a new kitten. eventually you'll be able to change her mind, as long as you show that your responsible and can handle the pets you have now. be extra helpful around the house as well.

sorry, but mom rules. when you have your own place then you rule. mom knows best even though its hard to accept. besides, you have a cat and a dog. a new kitten could cause a lot of jealousy with them.

When my dad told me as a teen that I couldn't have another dog. I went right out and brought one back anyway. It was too late and they wouldn't take it back. And after a day or so you were not in trouble anymore and they learned to love it and it was fine. I took care of it anyway.

Since your mom is probably the one taking care of the pets, sorry luv, but she has the say-so. If you want to maybe change her mind, start taking care of those pets as a starter.

If your mother is the one who buys the food and pays the vet bills it's up to her.
