The heartache of separation is always hard to experience. It hurts to have that loved one gone. No one can take your grandmother's place. But instead of thinking of all the " I should have done this", think of the times you've had and be thankful you had this long to enjoy them with her. If your a Christian, you can know in your heart your grandmother is in the presence of the Lord and the distress you feel now will not last forever, because a grand reunion lies ahead.
I know that you would like to have said things to her and spent more time with her, but do not punish yourself with feelings of regret, because all the hurts, troubles, of this life are passed and replaced with the goodness of heaven and forgotten.
Death does not separate believer's forever. The prospect of reunion and everlasting blessedness lies ahead for every person who has been born again through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

do you have any good memories of your time spent with her from your childhood? I say talk to her, whether she is responsive or not, she can hear you. Tell her how much that memory means to you and that you will always cherish that time spent with her. Tell her she was a great mother and grandmother and the family will miss her special touch. Hold her hand, kiss her, hug her and dont leave the room regretting not saying anything.

Just sit with her and talk about your happy memories with
her. I think the older generation know that the younger ones
are caught up with what they are doing and sometimes forget
them. She would have been wise enough to know that you
still loved her

Yes go be with her. My dad passed in 2004, and you will miss them so..... much let her know you love her, and maybe read Psalms 23 to her. Just love her as long as you have her. I feel for you.

I was the same way. be there for her. Hold her hand. Tell her how much she meant to you. She might not be able to recognize you, but she will feel you hand in hers, and your soothing voice, letting her go. You will feel her hand squeeze yours as she passes.

Go tell her you love her... some people say that they can still hear you... if nothing else, it will make you feel better.
