why do people care for life, im not goth but the only basic point of living is becoming alive then dieing?????

people live then die? why not we all just kill our selfs now insted of waiting some more years until we die? im not gonna die soon or anything like that but it always crosses my mind and it bothers me! the only thing different about me is im not religous.. i dont not believe god but i dont believe in god! ........ so w/b.........

Look at it this way...if there IS a God, then there is probably some grand purpose to everything, and there you have your reason to live-with the added benefit of eternal existence. If on the other hand there is NO God, then this world is all we have, so why not dig in and get all the pleasure and happiness you can out of the short time given you? To me that just makes life all the more precious, almost. What the heck, even without a purpose, the world is an amazing place full of interesting things to do, feel, and see! Life is beautiful!

hi.i bet a lot of people at sometime or another think like that.but if you actually stop and look around you ll see there's a lot of beautiful things around.like the moon and stars on a clear night.or the sun beaming down.or rain hitting your face.you shouldn't be in any rush to leave this world.who's to say that once your gone that's it.you have to make your mark in this world.and be remembered.were only here for a short while. were a long time dead.we need to make the most of it while we are here.there's a lot of fun to be had.I'm not religious either.but Ive learnt not to take things and people for granted.because nothing lasts forever. take care.

I dont understand it either. It confuses me. I think everyone thinks about it atleast once in their life. But ive learned to just live life to the fullest. and appreciate it. And not even think about death. And i dont believe in god either. It crosses my mind 24/7 and i hate it too. Ive learned to just try and forget about it. And accept that ur brain is more sophisticated than other peoples.

Everyone's life has a purpose, whether they recognize it or not. You're young, and when I was younger sometimes I'd ask myself questions like that. Don't worry - as people get older, their lives will usually come into focus. :)

people want to live because they find passion and a purpose in life and what they do..
what do you like to do? what are your passions? do you like to learn about a certain thing? do you want to find love? even if we do die that doesnt' mean we won't reincarnate.. or who knows!?!? i have thought about this same question before.. but now I know that I have found things to love in life..and i am glad i am alive
