Miss China should check her facts. Miss Heidie is correct. It is possible to have your period throughout a pregnancy. People have been known to deliver healthy full term babies and not even know that they are pregnant until the birth of the baby. Some women go as far as to have the baby on the bathroom floor because they don't know they are pregnant.
Definitely make an appointment and have a test done. You may not be pregnant but if you have the symptoms, there may be something else causing them so have a check up and ease your mind.

Women that claim they have a period during pregnancy actually aren't experiencing a period....its called a estrogen breakthrough bleeding. To make a long story short, the body manages to have a menstrual cycle even though YOU HAVE NOT OVULATED. The three most common reasons a woman may not ovulate but still have a "period" is 1.) She's on the pill. Birth control pills trick your body into not ovulating. When you take the placebo pills and have a "period", this is actually estrogen breakthrough bleeding, more commonly referred to as withdrawal bleeding. 2.) She's going through menopause. Although you're no longer ovulating, your body still wants to have a period. 3.) You're pregnant. No ovulation occurs during pregnancy.....but you can certainly have estrogen breakthrough bleeding. The chemical makeup of estrogen breakthrough bleeding is completely different than menstrual blood, but identical in appearance. So yes, you can be pregnant......but you need to take a BLOOD test (done by a doctor) to make 100% sure. Good question and best of luck to you

as a mother of 2 - the best thing to do is get a home preg. test. even the cheap ones from walmart will do. Then if it comes back negative, wait a few weeks as see if you get a period, then if not do the test again. If you are really worried and don't want to spend any money, then go to someplace like planned parenthood, they do test for free and should be nice and able to help you!! Good Luck!

the missing period is the biggest sign of pregnancy. So, the answer is no. However, going to your doctor is a good idea.

Highly likely. Women can menstruate even when pregnant, especially in the first trimester.
To be sure, you need your HCG level . That is the only way to rule out pregnancy.
Good luck!

No, you cannot.
What heidielizabeth69 is pure nonsense. It's extremely rare for a woman to be pregnant and be spotting, let alone have her period.
