no, they stink and they tear up every thing ,not a good pet to keep in the house

I have found them to be rather difficult...though patient pet owners with lots of time they are willing to invest in their ferret, and who adopt healthy ferrets without psychological problems or physical disabilities that they are not trained to cope with, may do just fine with ferrets as companions.
The ferret I adopted and housed for two years had suffered through a series of owners, and had only one eye. He writhed a lot when touched, was always trying to get out of his room to play with/attack the cats, and could not be constrained without considerate trouble (significant pressure, covering him with towel, etc.)
I tried to take the best care of him that I could, but when I returned from a vacation and discovered that his woodshavings were housing moth larvae because the pet sitter had been too afraid to clean out his cage (he writhed and nipped when she got close), I turned him over to a ferret no-kill animal shelter, where he could get professional care from a person with a lot of time and devotion.
On the upside, he was much easier to bathe than a cat or rabbit, and he adapted to a harness fairly well.
Note: Ferrets don't like birds. Don't keep them in the same space!

I had a ferret and I loved having her(she died). They are so curious and into everything, but they are so fun to watch and play with. They do stink, but all you have to do is make sure you give them a bath every week and keep their cage clean and they won't stink. I think they are a blast and would recommend them highly.

They are fun, until they get lost in your house...
... once lost in your house, you need to be VERY careful about sitting down on the couch.
I've knew someone whose ferret died because of this.

Yes I have 3 2 girls one boy they are funny to watch and play with I would suggest 2 if you get them in the long run the stink is worth it :)

They stink like a skunk, they put out a spray like a skunk,. But they are cute and they sleep under the rug and in the bathroom.

no, they smell real bad even if you bath them every day,and they
sh!t and p!ss where ever they are at the time ...they pee and lick there buts and rub the pee on there bodies [ they are a stinky mess] if you want a good pet get a hamster.

they are fun but they do smell they like to find shinny objects such as tools or jewelery and hide them. their kinda like a cat
