check the local pay lakes ... sometimes it`s good fishing in the ohio river [watch out for the gars if you catch one cut your line and don`t touch it ..they bite out of the water ,looks like a snake and has a head, bill like a duck ] don`t forget to get your fishing licence.
the game wardens are hot this time of year..i`m in ohio, we fish in the river and you don`t eat the fish..... it`s just for the fun of it

St. Joeseph has great spots to fish for catfish. I don't like catfish though, I'm strictly an ocean fish eater.

I've heard that Lake Tippecanoe is pretty good for fishing, but I am not sure about cat fishing.
