First, both of the 100-pound sons go across the river. Once on the other side, one of the 100- pound sons goes back to the other side where the two 200-pound men are. there, gets off and one of the 200-pound men goes across alone to the other side. So, now on the other side there is one 100-pound son and one 200-pound man. The 100-pound son goes back to the other side to join the 200-pound man and the 100-pound son. The 100-pound son gets in the boat with the other 100-pound son and goes across to the other side to join the 200-pound man. Now, the only person left on the other side is one 200-pound man. One of the 100-pound sons goes to the other side and the 200-pound man takes it back across. Then, the 100-pound son gets in and goes across the river alone to get the last 100-pound son. He gets in the boat and the two 100-pound sons go across the river together! Voila! the two 200-pound men and the two 100-pound sons are now all on the other side of the river (:

I think I got it. 2 100s go over one goes back and now there are one 100 on the other side and 1 100 and 2 200s on the original. A 200 pounder goes over solo. Now one of each on both banks. The 100 goes over and takes the boat back. Now both 100s and the and one 200 on original and 1 100 on other side. Both 100s go to the new bank. 2 100s and 1 200 on new and one 200 on original. One 100 goes back solo gets out and 200 pounder comes over to the new bank solo. now both 200s and one one100 on the new bank with the boat. One 100 on the original bank. The 100 goes and picks up his buddy and everyone is over

Both 100's go, then with all of their might, they push the boat back over? One 200 goes, and repeats, until all are over? XD...

two 200 lb men + two 100 lb sons=600 lbs
two of the sons go across and one of the sons go back then lets one of the 200 lb men go across and then the other son goes in the boat and goes back to let one of the 200 lb men go across and he pushes the boat back to let the sons both go across.
