Something newly broken which my birds have chewed up... and alot of poop on the bedroom floor (they always let themselves out when I leave).
When things are where I've left them in the bedroom, then I look in other rooms to see what may have been chewed up (usually the kitchen is second choice for being destroyed by them).

i expect to find a smelly litter box that needs to be cleaned out, maybe some boxes or bags chewed into by one of the cats (darn it-i left the pantry door open again!)
