I used to drink, mixed drinks and beer. I would drink because I liked the taste of it. When I was a teen I would drink for the alcohol in it. Guess it's a age thing, I don't know. I stopped drinking 3 yrs ago after going to jail overnight for DUI. (Road block at a stop light.) First time and last time for me.....:)

Some just for the alcohol to get a buzz, some for both the buzz & taste. There are people who claim straight moonshine is a great tasting drink, but I don't like it & I don't think many people do. It may be a bit like smoking, some do it out of habit, others for the taste or enjoyment.

The first taste of beer is usually not a good one. But it is usually the cheapest way to get a buzz. Alcohol can be very tasty depending on the drink.

Well some of it taste good...but most of the time its becuz of the way it makes u feel...i think my Health teacher said that its warms up the body an gets the heart pounding and thats why people get addicted and use it as a way to break away from there troubles.....but as for the taste i wouldnt mind a virgin-strawberry daiquiri right now

I think it's probably both, I don't drink either but I've heard plenty of things from drunkard friends.
I've heard that some kind of Bacardi tastes like soda and apparently they like the buzz they get. Why people drink is truly beyond me though, what's wrong with an actual soda?

i drink beer 2 a day, for 2weeks then not at all for 2weeks or more. bc its healthy, same as a glass of redwine with dinner is. beer tastes good to me, but i only like a few. heffe weisen from germany, corona extra with lime, 1 or 2 others, but i dont drink a lot myself. for real flavor i do like brandy, van gogh vodka and bacardi rum 151%. those i wont drink but 1 or 2 a month. its good to drink, in moderation. redwine really is good for your health

when I was younger I would drink cheep crap to get drunk, now that I am older I drink good high quality (sometimes this means high price, but not always) beverages and just enjoy the flavor and fine craftsmanship. I believe this is one of the major changes that happen when you mature.
