Michigan. Snow and warmth. You can have all 4 seasons in a day. Running the furnace in the morning and the air at night sometimes. Never boring. Cherry Festival in Traverse City, Hoedown in Detroit. Lakes everywhere, fishing anyone, you choice of the flounder. Tigers, Red Wings & Pistons (maybe the Lions soon!) Friendly people, beautiful views.

TEXAS---we have everything here. Mountains, deserts, forests,
oceans, lakes and rivers, big cities and great shopping, small towns, and a lot of country living. All types of weather, from really cold in the north part of the state, really hot and dry in the west, mild and humid in the east, and almost tropical in south Texas. We have a lot of culture and fast pace and great job opportunities as well as slow easy laid back relaxing places.
There just isn't any better place in the world to call home than TEXAS

I have a bias to Minnesota myself, but you have to like summer and winter. We only get about a week of fall and spring. I do know a state I won't live in again. North Dakota, I could stand having the state tree as a telephone pole ;-) !!!!
